Online tutoring in Economics for Australian senior secondary students, and especially Queensland students working towards their QCE.

My approach is to challenge you. Rather than hand over answers, I'll help you build your own learning strategies and thinking structures, so you do well in your school assessments and in whatever you study after school. It works particularly well for Year 12 students juggling a research report and exam preparation at the same time.

I'm a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers. I'm on a sabbatical from classroom teaching until 2028 and based in the Netherlands.

Online sessions are available between 6pm and 9pm Queensland time.

How I work

I won't give you exemplars from former students, edit your drafts line by line, or tell you the correct answer. Economics is about working through possible solutions to complex problems, and there's usually more than one defensible response. What I can do is help you express your own ideas clearly and concisely, backed by academic rigour, so that the work you hand in is yours.

 

How sessions work

• Online via Google Meet, and you're welcome to record sessions to review later

• Shared cloud storage for additional resources between sessions
